Roger Johnson, Deputy Executive Director, Los Angeles World Airports, USA

Speaker Biograghy: Roger is the Deputy Executive Director of Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA). He is acclaimed for leading the Airports Development Group to successfully implement LAX's $6B modernisation programme. His 35 years of experience in civil and environmental engineering, planning and construction brings unparallelled value to LAWA. Prior to leading the largest capital development programme in the City of Los Angeles, Roger developed LAWA’s sustainability programme and directed the Engineering, Planning, Environmental, Regional Transportation, and Information Technology Divisions. Roger graduated from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona with BS in Engineering. He was honoured by his peers for his leadership in transportation with the 2013 Transportation Leadership Award from DBIA, 2012 Owner of the Year from ENR Magazine, and 2012 Owner of the Year from America’s Subcontractors. Roger completed more construction at LAX in the past five years, than was built there in the previous 25 years.
