Day 1 - 25 March
Session:
Management & Operations (inc ACDM, ATC & TAM)

11:00 - 11:30 - User experience of airfield lighting control at Singapore Changi Airport
Synopsis: Changi Airport completed an upgrade of the AGLCMS in 2012. One of the key features of the new system is the multiple-controller operation concept of lighting control, where Air Traffic Controllers are able to remotely operate the airfield lighting independently and simultaneously within their own area of responsibility. Besides several user enhancement features, especially to taxiway lighting routing control, Changi Airport has taken a step further to improve operating efficiency by integrating with surveillance track data and conflict alerts to provide automatic routing of taxiway lighting for aircraft guidance from landing to parking and after push-back to take-off.
