Grethe Fremo, Environmental Advisor, Avinor, Norway

Speaker Biograghy: Grethe is the Environmental Advisor at Trondheim Airport, the fourth-largest airport in Norway. The airport is part of the Avinor Group, an airport operator with 46 airports annually accommodating 47 million passengers. Trondheim aspires to be Norway's greenest airport by 2015, and has held a level 3+ certificate in the Airport Carbon Accreditation (ACA) scheme since its launch in 2009. Grethe is responsible for implementing and coordinating ACA efforts, overseeing airport operations and construction projects as well an ongoing BREEAM certification. Grethe holds a Master's degree in Environmental Toxicology. She was previously Solution Architect and Project Manager for Emisoft, developing environmental accounting software for customers such as Qatalum and GDF Suez Norway. Grethe speaks fluent Norwegian, Swedish, English and some Spanish. Personal interest: When she is not working to reduce carbon emissions, you will probably find Grethe cross-country skiing in some lovely Norwegian scenery.
