Speaker Biograghy: Damien is responsible for BNP’s baggage handling and air cargo handling consulting business outside the USA. He has been a consultant in the BHS industry for more than 20 years and is responsible for systems that process more than 500 million bags per year. His work focuses on the end-to-end baggage process as well as elegant and efficient system designs. Some of his past and current clients include Changi Airport, Heathrow Airport, Copenhagen Airport, Aena (Barajas Airport), Schiphol Airport, Dubai Airport and Incheon Airport. Personal interests: When he's not dreaming of baggage systems during his free time, Damien enjoys sailing, fishing and snowboarding.

10:30 - 11:00 - Baggage system of the future; Singapore Changi Airport T4 BHS
Synopsis: An efficient and resilient baggage handling system will play an important role in the success of the new Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 4. The T4 BHS is designed with a tote-based individual carrier system (ICS) at its core. The ICS will be used to automatically convey, store, retrieve and sort all bags in T4. Terminal 4 is a fast-track project; through the use of BIM and close collaboration between CAG, BNP (BHS consultant) and the main terminal design consultant, coordination issues were quickly resolved with the optimal solution.
