Speaker Biograghy: Nic has been CEO of Oslo Airport Gardermoen since the airport was opened in 1998. He is also Chairman of the T2 project. Prior to this, he was Vice CEO for the old Oslo Airport Fornebu. His responsibilities included airport management as well as transition from Fornebu to Gardermoen, and operational readiness for the new airport at Gardermoen in 1998. He was educated at the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration.

09:05 - 09:30 - Doubling size while remaining the most punctual airport in Europe
Synopsis: Oslo Airport, being the second largest airport in the Nordic countries, has had a continual and rapid increase in passengers over the last 15 years. The design and planning of the development project (T2 project) has been a major challenge for the airport operator. Now the focus and main challenge is to maintain operational capability and customer satisfaction while the terminal is undergoing open heart surgery. It is essential that the supreme functionality and architectural quality of the original terminal be maintained and enhanced in the new facility. This project increases the floor area from 140,000 m2 to 260,000 m2.
