Speaker Biograghy:
Mr. I. Prabhakara Rao is the Chief Executive Officer of Delhi International Airport (GMR Group), India. He has had varied industrial experience over 29 years in the engineering, textiles, power and airport sectors.
He started his career in 1984 with Durgapur Steel Plant and later joined GMR Group in 1995. He was instrumental in setting up the world's largest 200 MW Diesel engine power plant in Chennai, and 388.5 MW natural gas based power plant in Rajahmundry. He successfully led the modernisation of Delhi Airport post privatisation in 2006 by constructing Asia’s longest runway and integrated Terminal 3 in a record time of 37 months.
As CEO of Delhi Airport he has taken IGI Airport to newer heights as the World’s 2nd Best Airport in the last two consecutive years in its category, as well as bagging other prestigious accolades and awards.

Synopsis: The CEO of Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL), Indana Prabhakara Rao, will talk about the first phase of the Aerocity that has been developed at his airport and the plans for the future phases. This will be followed by a presentation by DIAL's consultant NACO, Netherlands Airport Consultants BV, represented by its region manager, Joeri Aulman, who will talk about the Delhi Aerocity from the perspective of global airport city developments.
