Speaker Biograghy:
Paul has a background as a tower, approach and TMA controller, with experience in the UK, Middle East and continental Europe. He joined the Eurocontrol Airport unit when it was formed in 1999, where he was responsible for A-SMGCS-related developments. More recently he was attached to the SJU for three years, where he was manager of airports-related activities, returning to Eurocontrol the summer of 2012 take over as Head of NM's Airport unit. Paul is also an experienced private pilot and has an MSc in Airport Planning.

- Panel Discussion: CDM versus Network A-CDM and Local A-CDM – What are the different approaches?
Synopsis: The terms CDM and A-CDM are often used interchangeably, but can mean entirely different approaches at airports, the overall project scope and the stakeholders involved.
Audience will learn:
- How does simple Collaborative Decision Making differ from the formal approaches of A-CDM?
- What are the pros and cons of Network A-CDM and Local A-CDM implementations?
- How do A-CDM projects fit with wider CDM initiatives and projects within the airport?
- How do the different CDM and A-CDM projects affect stakeholders?

Synopsis: The presentation will aim to show where we are at present with
Airport CDM, what are the challenges to implementation and what are the
benefits of implementation. It will also touch on future developments of
A-CDM in the near future, and what comes after A-CDM, including the
integration of landside operations.
Audience will learn:
- The current and future status of A-CDM implementation
- The next challenges for A-CDM
- Beyond A-CDM – the evolution to Total Airport Management
