Speaker Biograghy:
Dr Patricia Ryan is a Professor at several international universities, represents a luxury sterling silver concessionaire and provides training on Generating Non-Aeronautical Revenue at airports. Dr Ryan is recognised internationally for her work on the new terminal at Queen Alia International Airport and commercial development at other international airports. She is a former North America Bureau Chief for The Moodie Report, covering the USA and Canada, writing about airports. Dr Ryan's last airport position was Director of Commercial Operations for Miami International Airport. She has consulted at over 100 airports internationally, started the first Concession Conference in 1989 and ran it herself for 15 years before negotiating with ACI to take it over. She has spoken at a number of international conferences and chaired Passenger Terminal EXPO, Airport Revenue News and ACI conferences for years. She has authored books on strategic marketing in airports and other industry publications.
