Speaker Biograghy: Michael has been Chief Commercial & Marketing Officer at Swedavia since 2011. He is responsible for Aviation Business, Customer Experience and Marketing. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing at Uppsala University, Sweden in 1988. He has extensive marketing and brand experience, working for companies such as Absolut Vodka Scandinavian Airlines (SAS), Volvo Cars, Visit Sweden and Royal Swedish Opera. As Senior Director of Marketing for Absolut Vodka and Volvo Cars, Michael was globally responsible for brand strategy and marketing communications. In the airline industry, working for SAS, he was Product Manager for in-flight sales, and Brand Manager. Thereafter, as Director of Marketing and Sales at the Royal Swedish Opera, he initiated internal change processes and major brand repositioning.
