Speaker Biograghy: Art Kosatka’s background in aviation security includes a period as Director of Safety & Security at the Airports Council International - North America, and working at the US Federal Aviation Administration and the Transportation Security Administration in their Offices of Civil Aviation Security Policy & Planning, from which he retired to form the AVSEC consultancy TranSecure Inc. TranSecure has performed aviation security assessments, planning, design, training and regulatory support projects for airports throughout the US, Middle East and the Caribbean, and recently managed the development of TSA’s principal AVSEC guidance document, Recommended Security Guidelines for Airport Planning, Design & Construction. Art sits on numerous industry and government security committees, including development of the RTCA Integrated Security System Standard for Airport Access Control Systems.
