Speaker Biograghy:
Dave is responsible for design and construction of all projects at Denver International Airport, as well as fleet, field, facility and technical maintenance. He also oversees the AGTS train, the baggage handling system, energy management and, finally, asset management.
As Denver International approaches 20 years of age, Dave's team has been forced to think of creative ways of maintaining the asset and planning for capital expense. Under Dave's guidance, Denver has implemented technology to help program the upkeep and growth of the airport.
Before joining the airport, Dave worked for Southwest Airlines in Denver, Manchester, Tampa and Chicago.

Synopsis: An overview of the critical elements of providing service to passengers during emergency operations. The presentation will focus on the development of a plan that will address considerations such as coordinating services both on and off of the airport, addressing the needs of stranded passengers, communications and the effective utilisation of staff resources. It will also include a review of training that is provided to employees, and steps that are taken to re-establish normal operations.

- The value of BIM in managing a facility
Synopsis: As the Denver Airport has matured to almost 20 years old, maintenance and capital planning have become more and more challenging. Denver has invested in a state-of-the-art asset management program to identify the condition of its assets, shifted from preventative to predictive maintenance, leveraged the power of Maximo, BIM and GIS, and introduced a mobile solution for its technicians. The BIM model has been developed and used for traditional design, but more importantly for maintaining the assets. This presentation will take the audience through the exciting transformation of Denver's asset management program.
