He has an appreciation of operational requirements and stakeholder interests at strategic and detailed levels, which define short-term and long-term business needs. Recent projects include the new terminal at Pulkovo Aiport and the Redevelopment Plan for Dublin Airport Terminal 1, as well as numerous studies to improve capacity and passenger experience in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

Synopsis: Check-in as a passenger process is undergoing radical change, as technologies for increased automation and self-service use are now reaching maturity and are able to not only improve speed of processing and passenger satisfaction, but also lower operational costs and reduce the need for built infrastructure. The presentation describes some of the most recent trends that have emerged over the last few years, different approaches in technology, passenger processing and service provided to passengers.
