Charles has been in the airport industry for more than 20 years. He is the Director of Paris-Orly West Terminal, which welcomed more than 16 million passengers last year. Previously, Charles held various position, including in real estate and finance.

Synopsis: Managing airports requires a global view of terminal activities and real-time monitoring of processes in order to optimise passenger satisfaction and operational efficiency. In a smart airport approach, AĆ©roports de Paris has tested a single innovative solution at Paris-Orly West Terminal, giving a real-time view of process and equipment including check-in, security control and boarding. Thanks to a 3D interface, back-office and mobile staff have most of the information to supervise, act and anticipate processes in order to bring passengers the best experience.
