14:15 - 14:45 - Implementing perimeter intrusion detection at Prague Airport – case study
Synopsis: Many airports have been built with no infrastructure along the major part of the airport perimeter. Traditionally, a standard fencing and patrolling system was the only perimeter protection. New developments in the field of area protection security products, such as intrusion radars, long-range and mid-range thermo cameras and other equipment allow cost-effective systems to raise the level of security. The presentation shows the approach of Prague Airport and depicts things to consider in the process of enhancing airport perimeter protection.
