Day 2 - 11 March
Session:
Customer Service & Passenger Experience
14:00 - 14:25
- Mobile tools: enhancing information to passengers everywhere in the terminal
Synopsis: Today's passengers are fully connected to information via their smartphones or tablets, and expect same from airport staff.
To provide immediate and comprehensive answers, Aeroports de Paris has initiated a project to equip information staff working on the floor with tablets featuring a dedicated interface with all necessary materials and tools. Following a successful trial at Paris-Orly in summer 2014, exciting new features are being added to the application in preparation for a full-scale deployment. Adding value to the employees' customer service tasks away from the counters is crucial, and mobile tools are a fantastic lever.
Audience will learn:
- Allowing information staff to provide the same quality of answers on the floor and on the counters
- Giving staff access to airport professional applications on mobile tools
- Mobile tools as a change-management lever
- Designing the best user experience thanks to early involvement of information in the project
