Yannick Lachapelle, Senior Regional Security Manager, EMEA, United Airlines, USA

Speaker Biograghy: Yannick's main functions include ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements at United’s stations in the EMEA region. Further, he oversees IOSA conformance for the Corporate Security department and plays a leading role in the implementation of United Airlines’ security management systems (SeMS) programme. He is also Chair of the IOSA Security Provisions Task Force, and continues to provide support to IATA in the development and implementation of SeMS requirements and guidance material. Previously, he spent seven years at IATA, where he was project manager for IATA’s SeMS implementation strategy and also worked closely with the IOSA Programme Office to ensure global applicability of security standards. He is an ICAO Aviation Security Professional Manager and also a certified ICAO AVSEC instructor.
