Ivonne Kuger, Head of Consulting and ORAT, Munich Airport, Oman

Speaker Biograghy: Having spent five years in real estate, Ivonne moved into the aviation industry to coordinate the Lufthansa transfer from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2 at Munich Airport in 2003. Since then she has gathered vast experience during more than 10 years of ORAT (Operational Readiness and Airport Transfer) projects in several regions of the world. She is currently in charge of the Munich Airport ORAT projects in the Sultanate of Oman, the State of Qatar, Brazil and Germany. In 2005 Ivonne completed her MBA in Business Integration, a programme specialised in process engineering and project management, conducted jointly by Wuerzburg University, Fort Myers College and Boston University. Ivonne is one of the driving forces behind the International Business Development of Munich Airport, and has recently been appointed Head of Consulting and ORAT.

Synopsis: Munich Airport operates two runways and two passenger terminals with a capacity of 45 million passengers. It was selected as Europe's best airport for the seventh time and was number 3 in the global rankings in 2014. Since the successful airport transfer and its smooth opening, the airport has established an excellent reputation at an international level. Munich Airport has supported more than 30 clients in 20 countries. The presentation will discuss what is needed for a successful ORAT project deliver, the primary benefits of ORAT, and lessons learned at Munich Airport.
