Steven B Cornell, Director, Manager of Projects, Turner & Townsend, USA

Speaker Biograghy: Steve has spent his entire professional career, spanning nearly 32 years, in increasingly responsible positions in the aviation industry. He has worked as a director of facilities development on an airport owner’s staff, as well as performing in multiple leadership roles within global aviation contractor and consultant organisations. These positions have entailed management and oversight of teams of aviation professionals delivering strategic analysis, planning, design, construction management and programme management services at airports within the United States and internationally. Steve passionately believes that airports of the future must reach far beyond the current conventional solutions to deliver seamless end-to-end passenger experiences. He suggests that we are now at the point where delivery of automated services within an environment managed through real-time situational awareness has become viable. He challenges owners and their development teams to apply this new thinking to their airports.
