Speaker Biograghy: Since joining the company in 2015, Kazuyuki has been in charging of environmental issues in the Smart Island Promotion section. He is one of the specialists not only for the hydrogen grid project but also for noise, water and natural environment development.

10:40 - 11:10 - To be the world's largest and Asia's first hydrogen-grid airport
Synopsis: Kansai International Airport (KIX) opened in 1994 and was located and designed to resolve the severe environmental issues at Itami Airport. In addition to the conventional environmental measures such as noise abatement, water recycling and waste management that were implemented since the startup, we have recently been working on next-generation system such as utilisation of renewable energy and hydrogen as a source of power at the airport. In this presentation we will discuss our plan using the latest hydrogen grid, which is already being used at KIX.
