Speaker Biograghy: Andreas spent five years with a consulting company in the public tourism sector before he joined Fraport AG in 2000. At started at Fraport as a Senior Analyst and later became Deputy Head of the Market & Trend Research Department. His focus was on business intelligence, traffic analyses, route development, forecasting, strategic planning and advice as well as quantitative and qualitative market research projects within the aviation world. In 2013 he entered a one-year commitment at Jeddah Airport, Saudi Arabia as Director Business Development, Properties and Marketing. Since his return to Germany he has been a member of the international consulting team of Fraport’s Global Investments and Management Unit. He (again) is focusing on traffic analysis and forecasting, trend scouting and business and commercial airport development. Personal fact: Being a real vintage car enthusiast, in his spare time he loves to drive his roadster through the countryside around Frankfurt.

10:20 - 10:45 - Airport experience in 2050 – it's all about data connex
Synopsis: Along the travel chain and from third parties (e.g. social media) a lot of data is collected about and around the traveller. His socio-demographics, his booking and travel preferences, his income and spending profile, his habits and behaviours, his likes and dislikes, his social network – all this information is stored in databases around the world. How could this data be used in favour of the passenger? What could an airport experience in the year 2050 look like? This presentation offers a provocative outlook on travelling through an airport of the future.
