Speaker Biograghy: Rajeev joined Mumbai Airport when it was privatised and handed over to a GVK-led consortium. He has been associated with this company from the very first day when management of the airport was handed over to GVK. He became President of the company in 2006 and was later elevated and appointed CEO in 2011. Rajeev spearheaded implementation of the expansion project to achieve operational excellence and efficiency, leading to enhancement in capacity, improvement in passenger satisfaction and increase in revenue both aeronautical and non-aeronautical. It was under his dynamic leadership that the iconic new terminal was successfully operationalised in 2014. Under his leadership, Mumbai Airport has won various accolades for quality, passenger service, sustainability, safety, innovation and environmental initiatives.
