Speaker Biograghy: Flemming has been in the aviation industry since 2000 and has worked with Avinor as the Portfolio Manager for airport terminal systems since 2009. Avinor is one of the world’s largest airport operators (counting number of airports), making this a challenging position. Flemming ensures that Avinor’s 46 airports have access to IT solutions that support further business development, meet the high traffic growth, exploit the terminal areas in the best ways, facilitate efficient operations and deliver satisfied passengers and stakeholders. This can only be done through an open-minded attitude combined with innovative use of new technology. Flemming gained a Bachelor’s degree in IT from the University College of Finnmark in 1999, with further study in IT and Law, with a special focus on data ownership and intellectual property, in 2003.

Synopsis: Implementing ACDM at a single airport is difficult enough. Achieving it across multiple airports in a single deployment – while offering significant benefits – presents unique challenges that are specific to multi-airport environments. Avinor is doing exactly that. Join this session to find out about their progress to date on ACDM deployments across three airports in Norway, with the ultimate goal of delivering a fully integrated, multi-airport AODB that will connect 56 Avinor airports in a single ACDM deployment.
