Speaker Biograghy: Andrew is the Head of Airport Operations Management at IATA, a team that manages baggage, data standards, A-CDM and airside safety and security among many other topics. Andrew has a Batchelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and an MBA. He has worked in several areas of aviation from defence to customer services, and has been with IATA since 2005.

New technologies such as the electronic baggage tag will be considered, as will concepts that will someday replace it.
