Elena Carrington, Manager of Geo-Political Intelligence and Analysis, United Airlines, USA

Speaker Biograghy: Elena currently manages the intelligence and analysis function of United Airlines. In this capacity she monitors all international locations United serves, and alerts leadership to any developments that may affect the safety of the crews, typically civil unrest, crime and terrorism concerns. Prior to her tenure at United, Elena worked for the Overseas Security Advisory Council, an office within the US Department of State. She covered the Europe, East Asia and Middle East portfolios, as well as OSAC's outreach programming. She also served as an international security analyst at the International Monetary Fund. Elena holds a Bachelor's degree in History from Fairfield University and a Master's degree in International Affairs from American University. She also holds a certificate in Security Leadership from Georgetown University.
