Speaker Biograghy: Filip has been Chief Commercial Officer of France’s second-largest airport since April 2013. His main task is to head up the Commercial Business Unit, which is responsible for generating all the non-aviation revenue (€70m annually) of the Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur company, and its capital investment programme (approximately €100m for the period 2013-2018). This includes responsibility for airport shops, car parks, car rental companies, property development, new products and services, restaurants and advertising, and for defining the Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur sales and marketing strategy. Filip leads a team of 70 people and is a member of the Executive Committee. Before joining the airline industry, Filip worked as an auditor with Arthur Young Audit & Consulting in Belgium, where he conducted audits of many Belgian and international companies.
