Synopsis: Tampa International Airport, already one of the highest-rated airports in the world with regard to customer service, is currently in the beginning stages of a three-phase, US$2.8bn capital masterplan that will enable TPA to increase its passenger capacity to 35 million annual passengers by 2026. This presentation will provide the future vision of TPA as well as an overview of the renovation that will get us there. That renovation will consist of the implementation of a new ConRAC and APM, an expanded main terminal and completely reconstructed concessions environment between now and October 2017, immediately followed by the construction of a new control tower, new hotels and commercial real estate opportunities beginning in November 2017, and finally the creation of a mini-hub operation at Tampa through the construction of a new international terminal and consolidated security checkpoints beginning in 2020.
