Speaker Biograghy: Prof Dr Ehmer studied Business Administration at the University of Cologne, and Political Economics at the University of Münster. He was a member of the scientific staff at the Bureau of Research of German Economic and Social Development in Berlin. He was also a university assistant in the Institute of Transportation Science at the University of Münster. Since 1988 he has been a member of the scientific staff at the German Aerospace Research Center (DLR) and Transport Research Department in Cologne, Germany. Since 2002 he has been a Professor in Aviation Management at the International University, where he teaches Aviation & Environment, Aviation Policy and Ethics Management. His special field of research is how to deal with aircraft noise, political measures to reduce noise and strategic measures to handle noise at airports.
