- Designing the airport of tomorrow
Synopsis: In the fast-growing and increasingly competitive airport (transport) industry, Aéroports de Paris is shaping the airport of tomorrow. Increasing air traffic, changing safety requirements and new customer expectations (global, customised, etc.) are the main challenges. Aéroports de Paris is pursuing the objective of meeting these new needs by better serving customers with new services and operational efficiency. The smart airport will combine human care and technological approach thanks to the utilisation of robotics, drones, disruptive transportation system and new digital tools.
Audience will learn:
- Safety requirements - Changing safety laws and regulations (Schengen). Stress at many checkpoints (40% of passengers are flying for the first time)
- Passenger experience - Minimise waiting times with new information systems (door-to-door approach). More and more customised services now offered in our terminals
- Operational effectiveness - Enhance the passenger experience, better work conditions, be more competitive and answer environmental issues (utilisation of new technologies, drones and robotics)
- New mobilities - Access to airports and mobility between terminals, for passengers and employees
- The airport city of tomorrow - Bring services of the city into the airport, and the airport into the city
