Eric Kaler, Senior Director, Airline Security, Hawaiian Airlines, USA

Speaker Biograghy: Eric has been with Hawaiian since 2007, and is in charge of aviation security and corporate security for the airline. Most recently, he has been a driving force behind the evolution of aviation security towards risk-based, data-driven security strategies and tactics. The industry-leading automation he developed is used to capture risk information and provide actionable data to front-line personnel. As risk-based security practice continues to evolve, these systems place Hawaiian in a unique position to keep pace with advancements and realise the full security value of these systems. Eric serves as Vice Chair of the Airlines for America (A4A) Security Council. He is also a member of the US State Department’s Overseas Aviation Advisory Council, (OSAC), the IATA Security Working Group (SEG) and the FBI’s Domestic Security Advisory Council (DSAC).
