Speaker Biograghy:
Stanis leads Stantec’s Airport Group, as well as Stantec’s Creativity and Innovation Programme. Born and educated in South Africa, Stanis is an architect and the former CEO of Architectura, one of Canada’s premier design firms. In 2003 Architectura was acquired by Stantec, and Stanis led the charge to grow Stantec’s Buildings Group to its present stature as one of the largest in the world. For the past 23 years Stanis has provided leadership to numerous airport projects across North America and internationally. He is an acknowledged expert and frequent speaker on the topic of airport terminal design.
