Speaker Biograghy:
Graeme is Corporate Development Director for MAG, responsible for identifying and developing growth opportunities in targeted market segments worldwide. He is also a qualified solicitor and a board member of the Haven Gateway Partnership, the New Anglia LEP Transport Board and the Business in the Community Advisory Board for the Eastern Region. He was Commercial Director for Cargo and General Aviation for MAG across the group's portfolio of four airports: London Stansted, Manchester, East Midlands and Bournemouth. He joined Stansted Airport as Head of Legal and a board director in the summer of 2012.

- Building a UK cargo hub
Synopsis: The presentation will focus on the development of East Midlands into the UK's largest dedicated freight hub, handling 326,000 tonnes of freight per annum. Key points will include: the upcoming resurfacing of the runway and dealing with resulting disruption to air passenger traffic and freight operations, building East Midlands’ profile internationally, evolving to meet new industry and regulatory challenges, and future-planning for expansion to ensure capacity needs are met longer term. The airport management structure’s approach to new ways of working and improving handling capability will also be discussed.
