Speaker Biograghy: Graham is a former senior police officer with 30 years' experience, seven of which were spent working within the aviation security sector. During his police career, he was both a firearms and public order commander, and worked on the Olympic Games and Champions' League Final. He was also the lead hostage and crisis negotiator for the force and is a qualified barrister. He is now the Head of Security Compliance at London Stansted Airport, responsible for compliance matters and security policy and working very closely with the Department for Transport and the Civil Aviation Authority.

Synopsis: This presentation will provide an overview of a new approach to augment aviation security developed by the UK Government. Based on behavioural science research, the presentation will show how existing airport resources, in particular the people element, can be enhanced to disrupt hostile reconnaissance.
