Speaker Biograghy:
Peter is a Chartered Civil Engineer with 12 years’ experience designing and managing infrastructure projects. Heralding from Australia, Peter has spent the majority of his career in the mining market delivering large-scale infrastructure projects for Australia’s leading mining and energy companies, in Australia and Africa. Moving to London in 2010, Peter diversified into the urban infrastructure and aviation markets. He is currently managing a portfolio of projects on the Q6 Asset Management Programme at Heathrow Airport.
Personal fact:
Peter is a keen skier and once ruptured his spleen in an accident.

Synopsis: As part of Heathrow’s Water Quality Investment Programme, this presentation will demonstrate how Atkins is helping Heathrow to treat contaminated airport runoff and discharge cleaner water to the environment. It will discuss the variable nature of the conditions that create contamination, the spatial and operational constraints within the site and the conditions that drove innovation in order to succeed.
