Speaker Biograghy: Mark has spent the last nine years working for Auckland Airport in a number of landside and airside operational roles. Prior to this, he spent a number of years working in the passenger transport sector in commercial and operational roles. He holds a degree in Industrial Psychology and a postgrad diploma in Business Administration.

Synopsis: A reset of the operational strategy to face the challenges over the last five years – the airport operations team made a conscious decision to move from being a systems monitor to an operations conductor to achieve certain objectives. The key levers that were pulled successfully have been innovative technology, business intelligence, process improvement and real collaboration of all airport stakeholders.
