Ed Baklor, Chief Commercial Officer, LaGuardia Gateway Partners, USA

Speaker Biograghy: Ed spent 14 years with The Walt Disney Company in various executive roles in the Theme Parks and Resorts division, including Vice President of Downtown Disney (now Disney Springs) and Senior Vice President of Adventures by Disney. After leaving Disney in 2009 he spent time in several private hospitality companies before joining WestJet – Canada's preferred airline – where he led the Airport Operations, In Flight and Contact Center teams as the Senior Vice President of Guest Experience. He was recruited in late 2016 to join LaGuardia Gateway Partners, where he is currently the Chief Commercial Officer.

16:25 - 17:35 - Panel Discussion: New York's LaGuardia Airport Redevelopment Programme
Synopsis: LaGuardia Airport has been the focus of redevelopment for many years. In 2015 the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey selected LaGuardia Gateway Partners (LGP) as preferred bidder for the Terminal B redevelopment. The project delivery strategy is structured as a public/private partnership, pairing developers, financiers, builders, architects and engineers with the public sector. The mission is to redefine the LaGuardia Airport experience and deliver a world-class airport. This session will present the project, discuss the internal P3 team dynamic, and address the importance of collaboration and teaming with the public sector.
