Speaker Biograghy: Richard Meyerhoff holds the position of VP, EAI Operations for L-3 Communications Security & Detection Systems, the world’s leading supplier of security inspection systems. L-3 is a global aerospace and national security company with approximately 48,000 people worldwide and 2013 sales of US$12.6bn. With its corporate headquarters in New York City, L-3 is a prime contractor in aerospace systems and national security solutions, and a leading provider of a broad range of communication and electronic systems and products used on military and commercial platforms. L-3 customers include the US Department of Defense, other US government agencies, allied foreign governments and commercial customers. Mr. Meyerhoff is responsible for our European, African and India operations, based in our Bracknell, UK office. Mr. Meyerhoff joined EG&G Astrophysics in 1991, which was a pioneer in the x-ray screening industry. Mr. Meyerhoff has also been responsible for L-3 Security & Detection Systems’ Global Sales team and Channel Management operations. Mr. Meyerhoff managed Raytheon BBN Technologies’ Boomerang international expansion. Mr. Meyerhoff has over 20 years of management experience with 10 years of international assignments in Europe and Asia. Mr. Meyerhoff received his Bachelors of Arts degree from the Argentine Catholic University and an MBA from The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
