Speaker Biograghy: Fiona is the co-founder and CEO of CrowdVision. She has personal responsibility for business development and client-facing activities. Fiona spent the first 10 years of her career in the UK’s Ministry of Defence. She managed large government-industry and international projects, served in ministers’ offices, and became the Director of Science and Technology Policy, supporting the Chief Scientific Adviser. Despite holding the honour of being the fastest-promoted civil servant in the Ministry of Defence, after 10 years Fiona left to pursue a career in the private sector. She joined a strategy consulting firm in the defence and national security sector, and built its Homeland Security practice. She then co-founded Secure Futures, a consulting firm helping government agencies and major corporates to develop industry and technology strategies. In 2009 Fiona collaborated with Dr Anders Johansson to found CrowdVision, an automated pedestrian analytics and insights company.
