Speaker Biograghy: Francisco is a former naval officer specialising in electronics (University of the Colombian Navy) and computer science (University of Bremen). He has a PhD in Economics from the UNED University in Madrid, Spain. He spent 10 years as Navigation, Telecommunications and Electronic Warfare Officer and Commander of a fast patrol boat in the Colombian Navy. He then spent five years working in waste management. Since 1999 he has been CIO/VP Information and Communication Systems at FMO Münster / Osnabrück International Airport. He is a member of ACM (Association for Computing Machinery), IATA BWG (Baggage Working Group), INSNA (Research Social Network Analysis Association), applied computer science-transfer circuit Münsterland and ADV. He is the Editor of a monthly electronic magazine, and an expert at the European Commission for Airport IT systems (7th EU Research Framework Programme). He is also an instructor for the formation: in Computer Science Expert on System Integration and Application Development, IT Management Assistant.
