Dr Jean Salomon, Director of Business Development ISS, SICPA, Switzerland
Speaker Biograghy:
Jean joined IBM France after his PhD. He then spent 10 years in medical imaging, in R&D and product management overseas. He then spent over 20 years with IER, in the design and marketing of secure access control equipment for the transportation industry in ports and airports, then worked eight years as Principal of JSCP, a consulting practice entirely dedicated to travel and security on border and ID management processes. As an ISO expert, he is an active member of ICAO’s NTWG and ICBWG, focusing on ID- and IT-related components of integrated border management systems, including harmonisation of biometrics and breeder documents (WG3, TC224/WG18-WG19). He has taken part in several ICAO field assessment missions on civil registration in Africa, and served as Co-Chair of the Advisory Board of EU Fidelity. He is a reviewer and an evaluator of several FP7 and H2020 projects. Jean joined SICPA in 2016 as Business Development Director in the field of border management.
