- 'Innovation Hub': using airports as real living laboratories
Synopsis: Groupe ADP has developed the Innovation Hub programme, which uses the company's airports as 'real living laboratories' to meet the challenges of transformation through an open innovation approach. Currently, the Innovation Hub programme is a powerful driver of change working to improve the company's competitiveness. The presentation will be about using the cross-functional approach to innovate. It will focus on three main pillars – open, connect and invest – which will be developed on stage and illustrated through one main experimentation each time, based on smart airport, improved connections and robotics.
Audience will learn:
- Introducing open innovation within the airport through the employees: acculturation induced by conferences, communication and dedicated space
- Open: working on events inside and outside the airport, dedicated to open innovation. Example: Airport Startup Day
- Connect: imagining a unique ecosystem to secure experimentation, illustrated by the creation of Hologarde
- Developing an investment programme dedicated to strategic operations with startups
- Open innovation through a worldwide innovation challenge: Play Your Airport. Pros and cons of throwing an open innovation challenge
