Speaker Biograghy: Eibhlín has recently been appointed to her current role. She is a skilled and committed airport operations and safety systems professional with about 17 years’ experience in attaining the highest standards of safety compliance, quality assurance and operations efficiency for Cork Airport and the DAA. Her most recent roles included Airside Operations & Safety Manager (seven years) and Operations Project Executive (nine years). Eibhlín has been responsible for the implementation of a number of European regulations including leading the Cork team through EASA Aerodrome Certification and implementation of Persons with Reduced Mobility European Regulation (EC) No. 1107/2006. She has coordinated the annual special assist pilgrimage flights to Lourdes, France for many years. She has also participated, as Safety Assessor, in a number of ACI APEX safety programmes. Eibhlín holds an MSc in Air Safety Management from City University London and is a Qualified Certified Public Accountant.
