Speaker Biograghy: Alexander has been in the aviation industry since 1995, and has more than 22 years' experience in freight forwarding and logistics, airline management, airport management and ORAT. He has specialised in the application of worldwide ORAT – operational readiness and airport transfer – projects. For 13 years he has been involved in and delivered almost 20 global ORAT projects ranging from one million to 40 million annual capacity. At present Alexander is managing the Bahrain Airport ORAT project on behalf of Fraport. During this time he has developed a unique hands-on approach to managing challenging operational airport inauguration projects. For the last five years Alexander has worked with the international unit of Fraport Airport Services Worldwide.

Synopsis: The presentation will explain the structure of Bahrain International Airport and Fraport's applied ORAT programme. Details of the intense assessment phase and how these findings are being applied at the moment will be described. Furthermore, details on the core ORAT programme will be shared, along with the daily alignment with the main contractor to ensure operational readiness. This interactive presentation describes a currently ongoing project with an finalisation date in July 2019.
