Speaker Biograghy: Ronald joined KLM in 1996. He is the Deputy Vice President Security Services for KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, responsible for the management of the company's security matters in the Netherlands and abroad, overflights risk assessments and corporate business risks. He is a member of the Air France KLM Security Management Team and previous Chairman and now senior member of the SkyTeam Aviation Security Group. He is Chairman of Platform Unruly Passengers, a Dutch public-private council that advises the Dutch aviation sector and legislative bodies on unruly passengers, and Vice Chairman of the Caribbean Anti-Drugs Taskforce in the Dutch Antilles. He also holds several advisories for international GOs and NGOs. He started his career in law enforcement and intelligence, and had several leading positions in these organisations in the Netherlands and at international missions, including in Bosnia, former Yugoslavia.
