Speaker Biograghy: Alexandros is a professional with 18 years’ experience within Change Delivery, Business Analysis and IT departments in major banking and financial services organisations such as HSBC and Allianz. He has expertise in organisational effectiveness solutions, operating models, process reengineering and standardisation. He has been a key contributor in executing strategic projects across retail, wholesale business and support functions. He is currently working as Manager of IT&T Business Transformation and Support Services, responsible for the business analysis and project management services, digital and innovation solutions and business support services functions at Athens International Airport.

Synopsis: The presentation will focus on how the Athens Airport IT&T Unit drives the required transformation journey to the digital world. The realignment of, or new investment in, technology and business models to more effectively engage digital customers at every touch point is the airport's reality. The indicative strategic pillars on which such a transformation will be based are: collaboration and communication (people, tools and structures); data-driven decisions; top emerging technologies to watch (enablers). An analysis, including simple examples, of how these pillars support Athens Airport's digitisation and innovation journey will be presented, along with the interrelationships among them.
