Sharon Mahony, Aviation Environmental Analyst, Eurocontrol, Belgium

Speaker Biograghy: Sharon works in the Support to SES Policies - Single Sky Directorate at Eurocontrol in Brussels, dealing with policy and regulation. In her role as an analyst and facilitator, she is leading the implementation of Collaborative Environmental Management (CEM) across Europe. This involves effective collaboration with operational stakeholders at airports, industry partners and European organisations. Sharon represents Eurocontrol on the ACI Environmental Strategy Committee. In addition, she leads Eurocontrol’s operational environment training portfolio. She previously worked in human resources and in the Central Route Charges Office. Through this, Sharon has gained unique experience and insight into support and operational roles in the aviation world. Sharon holds an honours degree in Psychology from the OU and a Master's in Environment, Politics and Globalisation from King’s College London.
