2025 TRAVEL TREND PREDICTIONS Planning ahead London Luton Airport (LLA) has announced its 2025 travel trend predictions, revealing insights from a Censuswide survey of 2,000 UK adults about their evolving vacation habits. The survey recorded the answers of respondents aged 18+ who had been on vacation in the UK or abroad in the last 12 months or were planning to travel abroad in the next 12 months. 54% of those surveyed now use AI-powered tools to plan trips – 58% use AI to discover new destinations and 37% seek last-minute local recommendations from the technology Nearly three in five (59%) passengers plan to limit phone and wi-fi use during holidays Over half (55%) of travelers now prioritize family reconnection over solo journeys Almost half (49%) of passengers are looking to visit places from their favorite childhood films A quarter (26%) of the participants are planning to travel for fitness competitions in 2025 74% say they are open to traveling with extended family to strengthen bonds 14 Passenger Terminal World APRIL 2025 www.PassengerTerminalToday.com
